I see no mention blood analysis on the blood found on the refrigerator. Does it match the victim Vilson? It shouldn't, if she was killed as alleged. That blood had to be someone other than Vilson's.

Response: The blood on the refrigerator was positively identified as belonging to the victim, Valerie Vilson. This blood was manually delivered to the refrigerator via splashing with an unknown instrument.

In the picture of the deceased William Giblini there is, what appears to be, a flashlight in the bathtub...is my assumption (sorry I'm a bad speller!)correct?? Or was this another way or fully showing the body in the picture. In a previous letter, someone wrote of not being able to fully view all of the files about Will Giblini's death...that person is not alone. Any effort to fix the connection (if indeed it is your connection not my blunder) would be appreciated!!! This site truly helps a small town person realize that the city is not the only place for violence..thanks for opening my eyes! :John

When last I visited Yoknapatawpha County, it was a small, quiet place where a person could get his work done without the distractions of a crime ridden world.

Response: It still is a placid community. This crime was an aberration.

Is it possible that Lisa, Tom Giblini or Tom's wife are the 3rd unknown person at Valerie's house when she died? Why don't you take DNA test of all of them?

Response: Lisa Wood and Tom Giblini refused to take the DNA test. Both claimed it was invasive and a violation of their rights. I'd have to agree. In America no one has to prove their innocence. Without just cause, suspects cannot be forced to submit to testing.

Every time I try to look at the evidence concerning the killing of William Giblini, it always say something like..sorry can't find, or whatever. Is this intentional? Or is it just my computer playing games with me? Also, Is there any more details with the death of Will? An autopsy report, an answering machine message, a destroyed hard drive? Possibly, if the killing styles are the same, either Will killed Valerie and himself (in an attempt to frame his brother or right all his wrongs) or Greg killed both Valerie and his brother. Did Will and Valerie have any possible romantic interludes? What about Greg and Lisa?

As for additional evidence. Miami will not allow release of evidence in an on-going investigation. We're trying. There is no evidence of a cross-romantic link among Lisa Wood, Valerie Vilson, William Giblini or Tom Giblini.

Why does the GIF copy of the letter from the Condom company mention the detective getting free samples, but the transcript doesn't?

Response: We often edit transcripts for clarity. I was embarrassed about the condom thing. Looking back, I should have left it in the transcript.

What was so important on Val's hard drives that caused the killer to risk getting arrested. was there something on there that incriminated Will?...if so, maybe the chat surrender was correct..maybe Greg didn't kill Val. But in a fit of "lovers vengeance" he did kill his brother (as reinforced by the chat transcripts). Greg obviously hates his brother and always has.

What about Lisa, why is she acting the way she is. was she somehow romantically linked with either Greg or Will??? Is she scared because she possibly knows the truth concerning the murders and is now being threatened by someone...possibly the 3rd unknown person?

1-The hard drive was ruined during the attempted restoration. Little was recovered. Nothing useful was found.

Lisa Wood's mother has reported a marked change in her daughter's behavior. She has cut ties with most of her family and dropped out of the church. According to Mrs. Wood, "For the past year I've watched Lisa drift away from everything she knows. Now she's drifted completely away."

All that knew Greg Giblini and Lisa Wood were certain they could not be romantically linked.

Have you or Kissoyan had any more contact with Giblini since he was on the "chat"? What is the status with Lisa now that her parents have filed a missing persons on her?

Response: Giblini has not made contact since his chat session. Lisa Wood's parents have hired a private investigation firm. They have agreed to share their information here.

Do you realize what you are doing? You have a site on a homicidal maniac investigation?

Tell me this is a fake site. If the killer actually goes to this site on the internet and sees what's going on in this investigation he can and probably will find out a way to evade police and see what is being done. I don't care if this site pays your bills or sends your kids to college! If you even thought that this is going to help you catch the killer, you are just plain psychotic. He can and will get away.

Response: Ms. Breedlove has no motive. She was not close to either victim. She had never met Greg Giblini.

I believe that someone needs to try to interview this Lisa Wood character. She was acting pretty strange last interview she had. She might know more information and she may have an important reason for keeping it to herself.

I'm sure glad I found this site when I did ( some time ago) as I HAD some stock in Rosebud (on the Pac. Coast Exch.) which I dumped as soon as I saw that it was associated with this case. Since I did that it's dropped significantly - more than just "panic" dumping like I did. There seems to be a rumor going around that there are financial "irregularities" (this usually means insider trading or embezzlement ) with the stock. Is there ANY connection with this case ? gfh

Could Vaskin Kissoyan have hacked the Arizona Highway Patrols DMV computer. Seeing that he has been involved in -->revious computer crimes, this is possible; right? What's Kissoyan's relationship with Giblini. Well, if Giblini is wanted, Kissoyan is either a really loyal friend or their planning something together, probably using computers. Well I could be wrong, but that's my view so far.

Response: Kissoyan actions are under investigation. He seems to have acted with good intention. You are correct, Kissoyan's ability to compromise telephone and computer security makes it likely he interfered with the DMV system.

Response: The person in the picture on the refrigerator is William Giblini. Ash was at a National Guard training session.

Please don't think I am crazy but could Valerie have ingested something and that's the reason for her mutilation - trying to retrieve drugs or something along those line?

Response: The puncture wounds were shallow and largely superficial.

Were any body parts dismembered and not located? Was Val pregnant? How much money does Greg have? Have William's accounts been looked into for possible large withdrawals? Or current withdrawals?

3-Giblini had about $8,000 when he disappeared. He cleaned out his ATM accounts within a week of Vilson�s murder.

Where does Tom Giblini fit into all of this? Did he have anything to gain with William out of the picture since they started a lucrative business together? What was his relationship with Greg? Could he possibly try to frame Greg for the murders?

Has Greg's trail gone cold since his San Fran escape or do you have some idea that he might still be in the area? Has he contacted any friends or family while he has been running? Unless he had unlimited funds, he has to eat, sleep, bath, change clothes, etc. so someone must be supplying him with money and/or shelter.

Response: We think he is in the San Francisco area. Interestingly, Lisa Wood is also known to be in that area. Expect more information soon.

I went back to search for the article on Giblini's escape in San Franciso from the FBI. I found nothing. Is there some reason for this? or is this, as others have suggested, just a hoax?????

I think there are a few things that we can assume to be true, at this point: a) William was the one to fry her computer, b) Val was (at least) involved with Will, c) even if Will was the one to kill Val, someone else killed him. The fact that Will's wife 'should' have been the only one to know where he was makes her look suspicious...and the previous comment that the killing was professional is intriguing. I also got the feeling that Val had been doing some pornographic work - during the IRC there was some mention of Val's big selling computer programs... Couldn't this have been her link to Will...I also think that the mutilator believed that she was pregnant - this points to Will, as his brother was obviously planning a future with her while he was still married...My guess= Will's wife hired someone to do it. Will had told her his new girlfriend was pregnant (probably to get $ for her trip with Will's bro (it's late! I forget his name), she may have even tried to frame her husband, leaving blood at the scene, or it is also possible that he participated in some way...Who killed Will? His wife I'd say...whether she got someone else to do it, or simply told here brother-in-law where to find him, so he would take care of it...We'll see, I quess.

Response: William Giblini's wife was caring for her ill mother at the time of Vilson's murder. Strong alibi.

Keep me posted of the events of this particular case, see we here in OKC have a serious interest in the murdering types and I just don't think Greg is the good type, not too law abiding and certainly not God fearing. I think William was possibly involved with Valerie.

I still think Greg fits the serial murder profile--note the fact in the chat that he was not willing to surrender---his form of surrender was to jump off a bridge--that way he has control over his life--not anyone else. By the way--have you located the gun that killed Val? If so, who owned the gun that killed her???

Response: According to William Giblini's wife, the couple had experienced trouble since the start of 1995. They were not officially separated. William lived with his wife until shortly before his disappearance and subsequent murder.

The Mississippi murder weapon has not been found.

I enjoy this site very much. I started this for the fun of it and now I can't wait for the updates. I have a friend that I print everything out for so she can keep up with what is going on because she has no computer so I do it for her. The only thing I don't like is that I can't get all the information because some of the sites won't let me in them. Other than that I love what this sight is about. Keep up the good work.

Response: Vaskin Kissoyan is known as "Spider" among computer hackers. He began his computer hobby by mastering the art of phone phreaking. This talent, getting illegal access to free telephone service, earned him respect among computer circles.

Kissoyan was briefly arrested following the bungled Giblini surrender. He is presently in Memphis, Tennessee.

I would put a tap on Greg Giblini's mother's phone---or maybe he'll attempt to go home for Thanksgiving Dinner!!!

Response: Ms. Wood has left New Orleans. She moved out of her small apartment unassisted. There was no evidence of duress.

2-Do you or the FBI feel someone else is involved?
3-What was the date on Giblini's letter to his mother????
4- When did William Giblini tell his wife on the phone of his vacation plans?
5-Was Giblini's car badly damaged or was he able to continue on with the car? Is he using his own car still?----- No prints on the picture of William Giblini on the refrigerator indicates to me that Greg planted it there for his brother to see and you! He wants you to think that it was just a love triangle---not that he is serial murder or that he planned the whole show. He'll probably be going after his father, other brother or Lisa Wood next--he's got the taste from Val's and William's death--he'll need another fix soon, if not already...

5-The car was totaled. He was driving Vaskin's vehicle. Giblini's car was abandoned in Arizona.

Response: The cat is now healthy and normal. It's poor temperament was remedied by having the cat "fixed." The veterinarian found no signs of abuse and so the cat was not referred to a therapist. The present owners of the cat have asked not to be identified. We have, however, requested that they forward a photograph. You'll be surprised at the marked difference in her behavior.

I think: 1-Lisa Wood running scared--that is why she is moving around--she knows more and does not want to cooperate in fear for her own life. 2- Giblini did not want to surrender--he was "playing with the viewers", which could fit a serial murder MO. 3- Val must have used the computer and modem at school and that is how she sent and received her e-mail. 4- Greg is saying that his brother William killed Val because Greg used Val to get to William. 5-the letter to mother---the tornado represents no control over his own life---when the wind picked up, Greg was saying his anger had increased and then the anger consumed him when the "sun shut off". Greg's two choices were to let the anger control him or to act out his anger and gain control of his life. The song -- "Never squeal on the pusher" --the people who brought out the anger and pushed his buttons. "Don't lie to your mama" -- obviously he wants to tell her the truth and why. "Just do what you wanna" -- no boundaries and gain control, release his anger. "It'll be okay" Greg making the violent acts right in his mind since he feels better by acting out the anger. Greg use of "lasso the tornado" indicates his need to take control of his anger and his life. Any other thoughts welcome.

Excellent Site!! My theory may have some flaws, but here goes. Greg and Val were lovers. Greg used Val's knowledge of computers to get to his rich brother William. I would check William's e-mail. Since William obviously did not keep in contact with his brother Greg, he did not know Val, which made him easily accessible through deception. It is obvious that Greg still hates his brother to this date- as illustrated in his chat with you about the $$ issue lemonade stand. So, Greg approaches Val about an idea to blackmail his brother. Greg tells Val its for $$ that he feel is due him and she agrees to help. She keeps a record of her dealings with William in a journal---she may have used the Arts as a common place to start with William. Eventually, they become friends and want to meet each other--this could explain the strain in William's marriage. At any rate, maybe they met once--his town or hers--and maybe Greg was taking movies at the same time--but Greg didn't expect the ultimate to happen--Val and William had a sex. Greg may have confronted Val after this and she then feared him, but then he put on his nice guy side and told her that he got over it and they went out. The night of the murder, Greg purchases condoms as seen in the tape. That night when they are seen at the Club, Greg tells Val that this is the night to extort the money from his brother, since the time is nearing graduation and their trip is near. She agrees, they celebrate by drinking and going back to her place for more drinks and M. Now at this point, Greg either has Val call his brother to have him come over to the Apt or he calls himself with just enough info to make sure his brother comes running. (They may have even made this call earlier from the Club or somewhere on the way to the apt. GVal goes to sleep and Greg goes to work carefully planning his joy in this shocking scene, especially made up for his brother's benefit. 1st he shots Val in bed--probably lying right next to her--her back to his front--the bullet would enter the right side of her head if he is right handed. Then he takes her to the bathroom and places her in the tub. Next he stabs her lower body--again this would support right hand since most of the wounds are central and left side of Val's abdomen and he is front to her front---that was probably for her acts with William--he had to make her pay. Then he fills the tub to cleanse her of her sins and wash away any possible evidence that could link him. He dresses her in men's pjs--maybe her roommates or William's or his own and then he places her in the kitchen where he wants to stage this scene with his brother. The picture on the refrigerator was probably from Greg to Val so she could easily ID him when they met, so he uses that same picture on the refrigerator to link William to Val. (at this point I think it is safe to say that Val and Greg did a personal study of William's daily activities and if there were any patterns, plus all of his banking records). Now William arrives at the apt--Greg opens the door probably with blood on his face and the weapon in hand. The brother is forced into the apt and as Greg watches William's expression William's sees the body of Val. Greg talks to William in a torturous manner and then starts slicing Val's face for more reaction and control over William--he may at this point throw some blood on him from the body or from the condom filled with blood. He does the same to the front of the refrigerator where William's picture is in sight. All this is done for power, control, enjoyment....it gives Greg a high seeing his brother's tortured expressions and reactions. He then tells his brother he wants $$ and to meet him or his family will be next and he has the computer info that he and Val collected. The brother leaves and says he is going on an extended vacation and meets up with Greg in Miami. William probably tries to reason with Greg, but Greg feels the upper hand and kills his brother with an officer's flashlight--to mock the police---I wouldn't doubt the cat was named Pig by him and probably abused by him also. He puts his brothers body in the bathtub, but not to cleanse him of his sins--but just to get rid of any possible DNA evidence he may have left behind on the body. Believe me--he is probably not finished, since he has had family problems with all members of the family, except his mother. Questions: 1-Gun Owner ID? 2-Date of Mother's letter from Greg? 3-Date of William's death--after Mother's letter?? 4- MODE of transportation by William's the night of Val's death and Miami? 5-Fingerprints on William's picture? Who? 6-Who did William notify of extended vacation and how did he tell them? 6-William's acts--have they been ckd for any large transaction or current transactions? 7-Could William have been abducted by Greg then night of Val's murder? 8-Who owned men's pjs? 1-The gun found at the Mississippi scene was registered to Cindy Gold. 3-William Giblini died July 17, 1995.
4-Unclear question.
5-No prints.
6-William spoke with his wife regarding his vacation plans. He was on the telephone.
7-Possible, not likely. No sign of a struggle.
8-The pajamas belonged to the victim.

I stumbled upon this page via a link in an RCMP's personal homepage. This is absolutely remarkable. I kept having to ask myself if this was real. For intents and purposes, it certainly does appear to be. I first read the transcript of the Internet Relay Chat dialogue with Giblini and Det. Armstrong. From that I went back and looked at the evidence provided. What struck me was that when I watched the convenience store video of Giblini purchasing condoms on the day of the victim's murder, Giblini distinctly appeared to be trying to prevent his face from appearing in full view to the security camera in the the store. Okay, if Val was still alive at this point and Giblini says he didn't kill her, then why was hiding his face by rubbing his forehead so much at the convenience store? There isn't a decisive conclusion which can be drawn from this "paranoid" behaviour, but it certainly is unusual. Giblini wore sunglasses when he purchased the condoms supposedly found in the victim's apartment. He appeared to be hiding his face from the convenience store security camera. Why? It may not answer what happened to the victim, but it does place further suspicion upon Giblini. Has this "secretive" behaviour been explained or examined?

Response: His behavior is unusual. Perhaps purchasing condoms made him uneasy. Perhaps this was an unusual purchase.

I think that the information in these files have given me something that I never had the insight to before...a clearer understanding of what detectives have to work with in order to solve cases. This is definitely one interesting sight!

Was the blood found on the cat compared to his brother. I think that his brother was at the scene, and somehow got cut. Maybe by the cat. He killed his brother to protect himself.

Response: The blood was tested. The results are posted below, later in this file. William Giblini's DNA was a match with the blood found on the cat.

My guess is your next 'victim' will be Vaskin, whom Giblini no longer trusts. That will add a fresh turn.

Response: Vaskin has safely returned to Memphis. He is cooperating with authorities.

Response: The blood samples found on the cat were unique. None of the other samples found at the scene matched. DNA tests show the blood was William Giblini's.

I was very disappointed in Giblini's attitude during the "surrender". If he was not willing to cooperate, why did he bother? It seems to me that if he is as innocent as he claims, he would be tired of all the running. Are you still keeping track of Lisa? I really feel she plays a major role in this just be way of knowledge. Also, at one time I asked if you had investigated Giblini's wife and was told that at the time this had not been done (I hope I am correct in that statement). Has any further investigation occurred.

Response: We were also disappointed with Giblini's attitude. Correct, the Lisa Wood connection cannot be discounted. Her location is not known at this time.

William Giblini's wife does not wish to cooperate with the on-line investigation. Her wishes are being respected.
