It is my fervent hope that this is not sound and fury, signifying nothing, a la David Lynch. I am enjoying the chase, but I wonder when one of these police agencies will call in a profiler from the Behavioral Sciences Unit at Quantico. I had the immense pleasure to work with Bob Ressler, who wrote Monsters Among Us. He has interviewed more serial kilers around the world than anyone else, and my suspicion is that he could solve this thing in a minute,

Response: Men like Mr. Ressler are expensive. His input here would be fascinating.

Fri Oct 27 18:06:50 1995

Will we see his statement of what happened and why he was "on the lam"???

Response: A transcript of the conversation will be provided to those unable to access Chat.

There are many questions to be asked. The number one priority is to positively identify Giblini and then to get him into custody.

Fri Oct 27 16:41:21 1995

Cool site...just accessed it yesterday. Just a couple of comments. In your response to a Saturday, July 29th comment you stated that Rowan Oak is the county seat of "Yoknapatawpha" county and that Oxford is in both Lafayette and "Yoknapatawpha" counties. As any friend of Faulkner knows, Rowan Oak was his house in the REAL Oxford and his "Jefferson" was the county seat of his "Yoknapatawpha" county.

Response: You are correct, Rowan Oak is the not actual county seat of Oxford. However, most residents of the city feel differently. Oxford does, however, reside in both Yoknapatawpha and Lafayette counties.

1-I'm still wondering why William Giblini's blood was found at the scene of Valerie's murder?
2-When the autopsy results were performed on him, were there any recent scars that might suggest the nature of the injury that led to the bleeding at the first crime scene?
3-Is there any indication that someone intended to kill him at the time Valerie was murdered but he got away immediately, escaping serious injury?
4-Alternatively, does the nature of the injury that led to his blood being present in Valerie's apartment indicate in any way that he was involved in the crime?

Response:
1-At this time it is believed that William Giblini was an accomplice to the murder of Valerie Vilson.
2-No scars. No recent injury or trauma. No sign of a struggle before William Giblini's death.
3-There is no evidence to support this.
4-There are two items that tie William Giblini to the first crime scene: his photo on the refrigerator and his blood. Perhaps Greg Giblini will offer insight here.

Thu Oct 26 03:05:45 1995

Great Job!, How about CUSEEME interviews for the next one or real audio.

Response: Good idea. That would be interesting.

Wed Oct 25 23:12:46 1995

I just stumbled across this today for the first time, and a couple quick suggesttions? 1. I did the sales brochures for my uncles marketing co. and your copyright notice won't hold up- you need the copyright symbol (the circle c) or the capital C in parentheses plus a "by..." statement. Please pardon the nit-pick, but you've done everything else so well... 2. Was the Mac reassembled after the damage? fingerprints? Lastly, I had a strange feeling while reading all of this material. I believe that you will find that a woman killed the lady, and a man attempted to destroy the computer. If you want to email me, please use: [email protected] as an address - it's my home account.

Response: Thanks, the copyright symbol shows up on most browsers. As for fingerprints on the computer interior, none were found. The computer was however, disassembled and disabled.

Lisa Wood is an angry young woman. She does not fit the profile of the killer and cannot be placed at the crime. Most important, bartenders the night of Vilson's murder, are certain that Lisa Wood was highly intoxicated when the bar closed. She had been there since 6pm.

Wed Oct 25 12:24:03 1995

Detective Armstrong: I am a detective novelist who found this site while looking for mystery sites on the web. Fascinating stuff & helpful to my own writing. My comments on the Vilson case: Why was Giblini buying condoms when Vilson was taking birth control pills? Was he HIV positive & trying to protect her (assuming this was the way they always had intercourse). Would a killer be that considerate? Just a thought. And if Vilson was really so squared away, going by the comment made by the head of the Theatre department, why was she taking Prozac, which is usually prescribed for depression? Would her therapist have any insights to her relationship with Giblini that would lead to his whereabouts? Kate Cone, Harpswell, Maine

Response: Vilson and Giblini were lovers. There is really no more reason than that to buy condoms. This does not discount the possiblity of AIDS or infidelity. There needs to be more tangible evidence.

Prozac is the most prescribed drug in America today. Many seemingly happy people are under its influence. Vilson was given the drug through the school pharmacy. She did not undergo counseling.

Tue Oct 24 15:05:49 1995

Does I-40 run by the Grand Canyon?

Response: No. Giblini probably spends little time on Interstate highways.

Mon Oct 23 20:17:14 1995

1) Where was Tom Ash from the time of the murders to the time the body was discovered? Not to suggest that he had anything to do with it, but whoever killed Valerie Vilson either didn't know she had a roomate or knew that he would be out all night. question

#2--is this a real homicide case?

Response: Ash was on National Guard duty. Yes, perhaps the killer was aware Ash was away. The killer's post-mortem actions suggest a lack of haste

This murder investigation has been featured in national press. For a definitive answer to this question write a letter to Detective Armstrong with the subject heading FAULKNER. ([email protected])

Mon Oct 23 19:01:25 1995

First of all, how safe can we feel knowing that a computer error can set murderers on the loose? The 45 minute policy sucks. If there is enough reason to stop the vehicle in the first place, then time is not an issue. Any plans for posting other cases?

Response: In the hot Arizona sun, 45 minutes is a considerable time. It is, however, a lousy policy.

Mon Oct 23 10:30:05 1995

This is a great educational tool and it certainly can pave the way for future correspondence in tracing the suspects if all police departments participate Hope you catch the party responsible I have some questions about the forensic science testing on the hair especially the DNA and RFLP what is the exact procedure. THANKS [email protected]

Response: Check the ABC's of DNA for more information on DNA evidence.

Mon Oct 23 09:09:17 1995

1. There was mention made of Greg and Valerie taking a vacation and visiting "every big hole in the ground" they could find, since Greg was seen at the Grand Canyon is there a possibility that he may be visiting these sites on his own(following their plans even if without Valerie)? 2. About the video tapes found in Valerie's apartment, what were they and is there any possibility of seeing them?

Response: 1-It seems likely Giblini is taking the route he and Wison planned. The pair planned to live in San Francisco.
2-The videos are objectionable and pointless. If there is interest, we will digitize a clip.

Sun Oct 22 21:02:09 1995

I still think the girl did it, because she now states that she can not remember anything, because she was drunk. Well, she probably does not remember killing her friend neither. I still say she's the person. Do you agree. Yvette

Response: Lisa Wood does not have the physical capacity to commit this crime. At the time of the murder, Wood was in an advanced intoxicated state. In addition, her roommate can positively attest to Wood's location at the time of the murder.

Sun Oct 22 17:19:13 1995

I understood why my comment on the non-existence of Yoknapatawpha was deleted. However, in a response to a commenter that Yoknapatawpha County was the setting for Faulkner work is only half true, n'est pas? My Faulkner literature background does not preclude my enjoyment of a good "whodunnit". Keep updating to keep the plot captivating!

Response: Thanks. Your comments were very clever. It was Anderson's decision to remove them.

Thu Oct 19 23:17:01 1995

This is a very intriguing case. Much better than the OJ trial!

Thu Oct 19 22:30:38 1995

I know nothing about APB's, but something strikes me as odd. Why does the APB say something about Greg and his friend (who was at the wheel) being pulled over? Whenever I have had the unfortunate opportunity to be pulled over fo r whatever reason, my passengers were never asked for ID or anything. How do we know it was Greg in the truck?

Response: The two had little luggage in the vehicle, making them fit several suspicious profiles. The matter of requesting I.D. is a routine procedure. If an officer ever requests an I.D. from your passengers, I suggest you cooperate.

Thu Oct 19 20:58:03 1995

What is Lisa's educational background? Is there any evidence that she has had any previous contact with William Giblini? I'm starting to think that Valeries Prozac Rx was for shame regarding her involvement in the soft porn video . Is it possible that Lisa and William were involved in any way (Drug trafficking or a relationship?). Seems to me that somehow they both tie into Valerie's murder (Wasn't it a DNA match with William and the blood found on the cat? Lisa was probubly on th e scene and happy to throw suspision on Greg until William ends up dead. Now she's scared. Go figure.

Response: 1-Lisa Wood dropped out of graduate school. She was pursuing a degree in theatre.
2-Nothing links Wood to William Giblini
3-The videos that Greg Giblini and Valerie Vilson would not be categorized as soft-porn. They were some form of modern video art.
4-There was a DNA match. Your theory is interesting. However, there is no evidence to support it.

Thu Oct 19 18:23:49 1995

Attn- Det. Armstrong: Re the earlier questions regarding the reddish dust or staining on the marijuana found at the first homicide. I recently spent an interesting day at a multijurisdictional task force meeting that included some federal narcotics agents with what seemed to me to be a pretty good working knowledge of their job. Without giving away specifics of your case, other than that it was " reddish-colored grass found at a homicide" they offered the following info on the condition that I not give away their identities or agency. Accordingly, for what it's worth (and slightly paraphrased): "Reddish, or red-dusty MJ (street names: Torreon Violet; Oaxaca Red) is consistant with MJ originating in Mexico and which enters the southwestern United States through entry points along the Texas and Arizona border. Recent traffic in the MJ you describe consistant with reports of shipments in the Starr, Co TX area. Possible destination following transshipment is the Chicago, IL area. (Chicago is the second-largest Spanish-speaking city in the world after Mexico City, asd is a major transportation hub to the nation.) For additional info, suggest you contact D.E.A at El Paso (TX) Intelligence Center...." With the possible Chicago connections early in the case, and the 16 Oct traffic stop of Giblini and Kissoyan on I-40 in Arizona, I thought that this was worth passing along. You might also want to do a toxicology screening for mercury-based insecticides on your "red marijuana" sample: though it gives more of a purple than red appearance (and isn't commonly used in this country; too toxic!) it would almost certainly leave anyone smoking material so treated extremely sick, or dead. *A1633

Response: As usual your comments show tremendous thought, intuition, and intelligence. We'd like to speak with you sometime. Drop us a line.

As you might guess, standard toxicity tests do not indicate exotic poisons. Your comments have uncovered a potential opening for the investigation. Samples will be sent for retesting. Good work.

Test Update October 31, 1995 No toxins found in any of Valerie Vilson's tissue samples.

Thu Oct 19 11:45:54 1995

Is that a flashlight in the bathtub with William? How long had he been dead before the police found him?

Response: It is a police issue flash light. It is the murder weapon. The light is dim, but still burning after about four hours.

Thu Oct 19 11:31:19 1995

Was the blood on the cat found to be anyone from Giblini's family? Possibly his brother William or Tom or his father? Or is it yet undetermined?

Response: Check the DNA evidence later on this page from the Oct 6 comment..

Thu Oct 19 10:46:14 1995

In the surveillance video is Greg Giblini covering his face because of the camera or because of the guy in the store because he seems to look over at the exit of the store (once the guy has left) to make sure he has left. Then once he is sure he takes away his hand and allows the camera to photograph him. Why? Has the store clerk been questioned about the other man in the store? And Greg's odd behaviour?

Response: According to the clerk, she thinks he forgot his change, causing him to return to the register. The man behind Giblini is not identifiable.

Thu Oct 19 10:45:26 1995

Was Valerie shot with the gun she borrowed or by another gun?

Response: She was shot with another gun, not found at the scene. Her gun was found unused.

Thu Oct 19 10:42:33 1995

If William went alone to visit Valerie (a woman he supposedly did not know), is there any reason to think it was to warn her about some new development in Greg's life (possibly that he was acting psycotic and violent)?

Response: No indication of that. We don't know why William was at the scene.

Thu Oct 19 10:40:05 1995

You stated that "for whatever reason William Gilbin visited Greg Gilbin's girlfriend." To me that implies that William went to see Valerie without Greg's knowledge. Is that correct? Or did William go with Greg to visit Valeri e?

Response: Three people know the answer. Two are dead. One is on the run.

Thu Oct 19 10:36:19 1995

Has the FBI been called in on these murders since they took place in different states? If so, what does their crime lab have to say about the murderer? Can they add anything to Dr. Graham's analysis?

Yes, the FBI is involved. Yes, they have their own profile and they won't share it here.

Thu Oct 19 10:30:19 1995

What were the names of the bars on the matches? Was Greg or Valerie or William seen at any of these bars the night of Valerie's murder? Secondly, who prescribed the prozac and the birth control pills to Valerie?(are they for Valerie?) Has the doctor been searched for and subsequently questioned about Valerie's mental state? Isn't prozac prescribed to people who have mental illnesses?(such as psychosis) Was there gun powder found on Valerie's fingertips?(Could this possibly be a suicide made to look like a murder? Possibly to cover up a suicide note that revealed intimate details of someone's life?

Response: The bar matches from Oxford bars were City Grocery and Proud larry's. Both Greg Giblini and Valerie Vilson were seen at Proud Larry's.

Response: Your suicide theory is interesting. How do you suppose it happenned.

Thu Oct 19 07:42:35 1995

There are so many comments, is it possible for you to summarize them?

Response: Possible, yes. Likely, no. We can barely get the comments answered. However, If anyone would like to create an index in HTML, we would use it. Contact [email protected] for details.

Hopefully, we'll get this issue resolved. At the very least, we'll compile a frequently asked Questions list. Thanks for the great suggestion!

Wed Oct 18 19:09:42 1995

Was Greg seen fooling around with any other women? How about his brother William? Finally, is it not odd that a guy who runs from the law would buy condoms (responsibly) when his girlfriend already has an effective method of birth control. Was he trying to hide a fling with another women?(remember he tried to hide from the camera.(who owns the store anyway? Does Greg know them?

Response: Neither Giblini brother was known to have numerous girlfriends. Greg Giblini was a regular at the store where he purchased the condoms. His motivation for purchasing them and his unusual behavior during the purchase are questions that will be asked when he is apprehended.

Wed Oct 18 18:37:06 1995

This may be a stupid question but I'll ask anyway. There was a modem found with the computer, and to the best of my knowledge when you call up places on your computer it is recorded by telephone companies. Was there any investigation into the telephone or modem records near the time of death? Secondly, was there any fingerprints recovered from the liqour bottle or the drug paraphenalia? Finally is the wherebouts of Lisa being checked out? She could lead you to the suspect! Thanks for the fun! Keep it coming!

Response: Good question. Phone records showed no calls to services such as AOL or campus computer services. The modem was apparently unused.

Lisa Wood is still in New Orleans. She has given no indication of when or where she intends to move.

Wed Oct 18 18:13:40 1995

In the surveillance video there was a man who walked behind Greg Giblini. Was this man ever questioned or looked for? Possibly an accomplice?

Response: We'll take a look at the video. That is an area that has been unexplored. Good eyes.

Wed Oct 18 10:58:54 1995

Has anyone talked to any of Greg's former girlfriends? If so, is there information they provided that might shed some light on his character or if he had a propensity towards violent or psychotic behavior?

Response: No former girlfriends have come forward. His mother had only met the victim once. This was unusual, since Giblini never brought his female friends home.

The only indication of a propensity for trouble was his status as a "loner" as indicated in school records. In school, he had few friends and socialized poorly.

Wed Oct 18 10:55:22 1995

Can you summarize the common themes in Faulkner's novels? Didn't he write a lot about dysfunctional southern families?

Response: Most Southern writers focus on the unique aspects of Southern culture. Some of these cultural topics include; language, values, history, tradition, and family. One of the more popular themes is the family. The family was a topic of choice for Southern writers that include. Tennessee Williams, Alex Haley, Beth Henley, and of course, William Faulkner.

Wed Oct 18 10:52:21 1995

Since Tom Ash was Vilson's roommate at the time of her death, what is his take on all of this? Any insights into Valerie's character or her relationship to Greg and his family? What about her being scared and borrowing a gun? Did she discuss her fears with him? Seems odd that she wouldn't tell him anything if he was living with her.

Response: According to Ash, Vilson was a perfect roomate because she was never home. She spent considerable time working part-time, acting in plays, and writing her acting thesis.

The murder shocked Ash and compelled him to action. His efforts lead to the Web's involvement in the investigation. Ash said he felt guilty because she got a gun, instead of his help, when she felt in danger.

Wed Oct 18 10:49:17 1995

Why was Greg estranged from every family member except his mother. And if he was, how come William was with him in Mississippi and then Florida?

Response: Giblini's family problems began when he wrecked the family car while under the influence of alcohol. Giblini's teenage drinking and his anti-social behavior made him intolerable to his family.

For whatever reason, William Giblini visted Greg Giblini's girlfriend. This is known by the presence of his DNA at the scene. Later, Greg Giblini was seen entering and exiting his brother's motel room. According to the coroner, the time of William Giblini's death coincides with Greg Giblini's visit.

Wed Oct 18 10:47:47 1995

The Northview Data Recovery lab said in its August 4th letter that they expected to have results within 2 weeks (re: the contents of the destroyed hard drive). It's now been 10 weeks. What's going on?

Response: The drive would normally be unrecoverable. It has been reduced to millions of lines of gibberish. A sophisticated algorithm based on fuzzy logic is translating several thosand lines daily. So far the results have been very unspectacular.

There is some hope of promise in the future. It appears that large portions of data, including a journal, may be on a recoverable portion of the disk. No promises.

Wed Oct 18 09:52:00 1995

I tried to e-mail you but I'm getting a message saying that your DNS server is not accepting mail. I don't know why. Could you please e-mail me with your response ([email protected]). I would like a definitive and unequivocal answer about whether this is a an real on-going investigation of an actual murder. Based on the fact that the subject name you requested that we use to ask about the authenticity of this site is "Faulkner" and based upon the fact that you deleted almost all of the message from the person linking this site and your county name to William Faulkner's novels, I am now led to believe that this is an elaborate, albeit fascinating, ruse. Another question: why might it be that some of my comments were deleted from the group of messages that you just responded to. I know they were there for quite some time. Are you still in the process of responding to them, or did I hit upon something ( like the person making the William Faulkner connection) that you didn't want others to see?

Response: There is no conspiracy. We delete repetitive comments. We also remove comments that do not advance a theory or question. We do, however, leave compliments intact.

You obviously had questions that needed to be addressed. We'll be less aggressive in deleting.
Here are the answers you seek.
1-We had mail problems for a while. It took several weeks before anyone noticed that lack of communication. Sorry
2-Faulkner was chosen for a topic because he lived in Oxford. He is also closely associated with the county. All his stories occur there.
3-We'll respond in detail to questions regarding the reality of this site. Write a letter to Detective Armstrong with the subject heading FAULKNER. ([email protected])

Wed Oct 18 08:21:42 1995

Scenario: Greg, Lisa and and Valerie do a soft porn, Without Valerie being aware of Lisa and Gregs real motive, which is to do a hard core "snuff" porn. She goes along with it because she needs an "acting" job. Was she bisexual? or is it even relevant?

Response: The "Snuff" film idea has been bandied about. There is nothing other than Giblini's video skill to suggest this.
In addition, the FBI keeps archives of any Snuff film is finds. None fit Vilson's description.
The victim was not bi-sexual.

Wed Oct 18 08:17:09 1995

Possible motive for using condom to store blood: Lisa Wood (or another female)is the killer and wanted the murder to look like a man (strong, angry) had done it. There is no evidence of ANY sexual activity, but if there is a missing condom many people have assumed there was sexual intercourse involved. Lisa was jealous of Valerie, and Gregs relationship. Although this does not explain Williams murder.

Response: Lisa Wood is evolving as possible suspect. Her demeanor and answers seem suspicious. Your thoughts re: the condom are possiblities. Thanks

Wed Oct 18 04:57:46 1995

Really cool.

Tue Oct 17 14:18:03 1995

Over the weekend I caught a show on the Discovery Channel about serial killers. The Gainsville, Florida killer (I think his name was Rollings or Rawlings) who was known for killing several college coeds also attempted to wash one of his victims with soap to hide evidence, mutilated the body, and then posed the body in such a way as to frighten anyone who entered the room. A lot of similarities. Do you think Greg is a serial killer too? Is there any evidence to suggest that Greg might have killed before Valerie? Or between Valerie and William? Or after William?

Response: Yes. Posing a victim is a classic sign of psychosis. We were aware of the Florida case. Our experts have uncovered nearly a dozen such crimes in the past three years. This was the first incident investigated in the region.

For more information see the SERIAL KILLER HIT LIST. Its a great resource. It opens with a classic definition of the serial killer. Set your bookmark for this site!

Tue Oct 17 14:13:05 1995

In your response to an August 22nd letter, you confirmed that Vaskin Kissoyan was the person who gave Tom Ash's (the man to whom the mysterious letter is addressed) Crime Scene (i.e., the Vilson/Gilbin murders) a home on the net. Now Vaskin has teamed up with Greg Gilbin? What gives?

Response: The link between Kissoyan and the CRIME SCENE is peculiar. The site was disabled when it made COOL SITE OF THE DAY. Kissoyan offered space in his account. His offer was a surprise. He had no apparant relation to the case. This recent development is puzzling.
Ash is upset about the recent development. He was Vilson's roommate at the time of her death.

Tue Oct 17 06:20:06 1995

I had to reach back about 20 years to my days as an English major at the University of Michigan...It took a while for the significance of your seal to sink in.

Mon Oct 16 10:52:04 1995

When I initially discovered this site, I was absolutely fascinated by it. What a neat way to play Perry Mason. . . . For weeks I signed on daily, then every third day, now a couple of times a month. Why has my interest ebbed? Because the site is rarely updated and new information is almost non-existant. It's a pity. The site had such potential. Unfortunately, it's dying of neglect.

Response: Not for long, son. See recent updates.

Fri Oct 13 16:23:42 1995

Wow!

Response: Thank you.

Tue Oct 10 05:49:50 1995

Is Greg still alive? Also, since the gun shot was so clean, perhaps someone else raped, bathed, and then mutilated the body after the killer had left.

Response: Yes. No known witness to the crime exists. The suspect was unavailabe after the murder to test for powder burns. We are logically assuming that the killer and the mutalator to be one in the same with no evidence to support otherwise.

Tue Oct 10 01:06:12 1995

There are moments when this seems real. Great job. I have a few theories, but I'll wait until more evidence is uncovered. One thing that disturbs me, however, is the number of people commenting who are puzzled by condoms and birth control pills. Just because someone is a regular lover, doesn't mean dittle. Shit happens! How many of these people have had only one lover in the last ten years? Even so, there is no way to tell how many lovers your lover has had. And if you haven't been using condoms and you have an affair, how are you going to suddenly convince your lover that they are a good idea? No wonder AIDS is spreading so fast.

Mon Oct 9 09:34:55 1995

Does Greg Giblini have any medical conditions requiring ongoing visits to a pharmacy? ie: diabetes, requiring insulin & syringes; or high blood pressure, requiring medication, etc... It would be a shame if someone spilled "Freon TF" on the sealed envelope... The envelope would become clear as glass for about 30 seconds, then dry without leaving any trace..

Response: Not known. Extremely interesting..

Sun Oct 8 14:22:04 1995

I don't think the cat did it, but its mug shot is scary! I don't think it's realistic for the cat to have blood around its mouth unless its bird or mouse blood.

Response: I'm sorry you don't think so. It is, however, how I found the cat and the lab showed that the blood was indeed human. According to the neighbors and the local vet, the cat, pig, has a history of violent behavior.

Fri Oct 6 17:44:26 1995

William did it and his brother killed him in rage

Response: A possibility.

Fri Oct 6 16:55:00 1995

1. Have you talked to other brother? 2. Maybe the person in the store video wasn't Greg. A lot of makeup around. It doesn't seem Greg would need condoms with girlfriend using the pill.

Response: 1. Yes. He wishes to remain neutral. He is not a suspect. 2. It was Greg Giblini.

Fri Oct 6 12:03:09 1995

I posted before and I forgot to add something......the condoms and the bathing.....both indicate to me possible rape. Even though there was no physical evidence to establish sexual trauma I do believe that it is possible that she was raped post mortem or even raped prior to her death. Her intoxicated state may have contributed to her "willing" behavior even tho she may have been protesting. The stab wounds possibly were put there out of jealous rage as I indicated earlier. Along the lines of witness interviews. I dont think that they should weigh heavy on your minds....Mr Giblini should be seen with the victim....she was his boyfriend....I dont believe that he is the murderer.....

Response: Witness interviews weigh very heavily on my mind. I agree. Giblini should be seen with the victim.

Fri Oct 6 11:56:13 1995

I feel that with the interesting DNA evidence and the fact that there is something that matches I think that the DNA strand of the blood found on the cats mouth indicates that the Greg Giblini is not the murderer..DNA evidence does show that he didnt do it. You found no blood of his at the crime scene and the only evidence that you did find that remotely linked him was the hair. This evidence is only natural to be found considering that the Victim was acquainted with Giblini and were in fact having a relationship so I believe it only natural that some kind of marker as to his presence there. Hair falls out all the time so I think that you are wasting your time with the lead on Mr Giblini. However, I do think that you should analyze the DNA of Mr Giblini's brother. Even tho I am not really an expert on DNA Analysis I do believe that if you analyze his samples you will find a match. The match in both the blood found on the cat and Mr Giblini I believe is a strand that links siblings or perhaps family members. I cannot speculate as to the relationship that the victim had with him however I do think that it is possible that jealousy had something to do with her murder.

Response: Maybe Giblini is innocent, but we aren't wasting our time. You seem to forget that he is in the process of evading authorities. I'd just like to talk to the guy. As far as the DNA goes, I really have a hard time understanding any of it. The results from the test have just come in. Here they are.
Key
#1- Sample collected from cat.
#2- Sample collected from William Giblini.
Results tabulated using a new form of digital image analyis in development at Berkley University.

Thu Oct 5 17:43:52 1995

I am a multimedia producer for the Discovery Channel, and I'm developing a CD-ROM/on-line title designed to give people the facts about how crimes are committed and allowing them to participate in the resolution of real-world cases. This site is the type of site I would theoretically want to link users to. It's a good piece of work.

Response: Of course, thank you.

Thu Oct 5 16:10:05 1995

I am an undergraduate student, my major is psychology I will be a senior next semester. I have been reviewing this case and a couple of things that I have paid a paticular interest in, is: 1) The victim was killed in bedroom 2) Victim was bathed 3) Victim was reclothed 4) Body was moved to kitchen 5) Even though the stab wounds were localized to the genital area, they were done wildly and with rage. Must go now will get back to you latter.
