Marissa and Olivia decided to spend the day together. First stop was McDonalds for breakfast. where Robby Cantrell, Marissa’s ex-boyfriend, was there and could have shot daggers into her with his stare. Next it was the library to study. There they ran into the creepy church guy who was always preaching salvation “for their wretched souls.” One stop was to play Frisbee with some boys who Marissa flirted with unashamedly. Mari seemed to flirt with a lot of boys. She knew she was good looking and she used those good looks every chance she got. It was a game she played; even when it hurt someone else like Johnny at the Shell station; who would stammer and stutter from the moment she entered until she exited. It did not sway her in the least. It was all a game to her.

Ollie and Marissa had a wonderful day until Mari left Ollie at the Laundromat to go to the Shell station to buy a snack. Since they were washing their shoes Mari decided to skate over to the Shell station.
