Olivia Nicole Murphy was born to Cornelius Dean and Catherine Rene` Murphy on October 12, 1989. Olivia's friends and family started calling her Ollie when her younger brother, Philip, was unable to properly pronounce her name.

From an early age it was apparent that Ollie was a natural born athlete. Her parents took her to gymnastics, martial arts, cheer camps, swimming lessons, ice and roller skating clinics and she was active in High School volleyball and tennis. Ollie maintained a C average in school and was always on the move.

In Junior High she became best friends with Marissa McConnell, a.k.a. Mari. Ollie and Mari seemed to be attached at the hip; you never saw one without the other. They attended their junior prom together. The boys they went with were also best friends so they doubled on prom night. The girls were looking forward to their graduation in May.
