Johnny Clark was born on June 8, 1988, in an ambulance, as his mother was being rushed to the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ms.. His mother died during childbirth and
Johnny was raised by his father and his grandparents. They all lived together in a small farmhouse in the country. They didn’t have a lot of money, but they never complained.

His father, Jack Clark, never remarried and never got over the death of Johnny’s mother. He remained with his parents until his death in a farm accident in the summer of 1996. Johnny was devastated, but with the help of his grandparents he worked through the grief. He knew his mom and dad were in heaven and he would see them again.

When Johnny went to school, he made a lot of friends because of his wonderful disposition. He always had a smile on his face and a good word to everyone he met.

He had several girlfriends in high school, but none that he was interested in enough to spend a lot of time with. He had big plans for his future and wanted to go to college but knew that his family wouldn’t be able to help him.

When he graduated from high school, he decided that the one thing he could do well was work on cars and fix them up. On the farm, he had become a master mechanic, working on all the farm equipment and also the family automobiles.  So he got jobs at some of the local service stations and was saving every penny he could, so he could go to college eventually. He started taking jobs on the side working on cars. His grandparents let him use the old garage at the farm and that’s where Johnny would be most of the time when he wasn’t working at the station.

On March 2, 2008, at 7:35 P.M, Johnny was working at the Shell Station on University Avenue in Oxford, when he discovered the body of an unidentified female in the restroom at the station.
