Hello Visitor,

Well, it's been an interesting week. A man named Melvin Roberts came forward and confessed to murdering Monica Drum. He and Ms. Drum had an acrimonious history, and we're checking out his story.

But something seems off. Maybe it's just that it was too easy since he came to us before we went to him.

Meanwhile, we got a call from Lori Schultz who found something strange at Monica's house. Detective Parker checked it out and came back with a safe deposit box key.

There was no other information with the key and Ms. Schultz didn't know anything about it, so we're trying to track down which bank it goes to.

In today's update, Crime Scene members can review interviews with Lori Schultz and Melvin Roberts's wife Candy as well as the incident report Monica Drum filed about Mr. Roberts several years ago.

All Crime Scene viewers can see security guard Ernie Parrish's interview and bio, the visitor logs from the Eagle, and Ms. Drum's calendar for the month she died.

Coming up this week, we're going to nail down the details of Melvin Roberts's confession to see if he's telling us the whole story. We're also optimistic that we'll locate that safe deposit box and find out what Monica Drum stashed there. And we're still looking for Rick Hughes. He can't seem to keep his mouth shut, even in hiding, so it's just a matter of time before we find him.

Do you believe that Melvin Roberts killed Monica Drum? Which leads do you think we should pursue to solve this murder? Review the case documents and tell us what you think in the comments and the forums.

All the best,

Det. Murphy
