DEAR Visitor,

We don't have the coroner's ruling yet, but Detective Armstrong and I aren't quite convinced that the May 11, 2012, death of Veronica Smith was the suicide it first appeared to be.

We've talked to some of her co-workers, friends and family, and the woman they describe doesn't seem like the type to kill herself.

In this update, we talk to Will Sands, who was bartending at The Roadhouse where Veronica met her friends for drinks and dinner the night she died.

Watch the video to see Will's take on Veronica and how she was acting that night.

Coming this week, we're expecting the coroner's preliminary report. We'll also talk to Veronica's attorney for the malpractice suit, hear from Veronica's ex-husband, and more.

If Veronica Smith didn't commit suicide, what do you think happened to her? If she was murdered, who do had both motive and opportunity? Review the case documents and tell us what you think in the comments.

All the best,

Det. Murphy
