Greetings ,

Cheryl Weston with video
Cheryl Weston,
victim's friend

To follow up on what we learned from Becky Pace, Detective Armstrong and I had another conversation with Cheryl Weston. We discussed quite a few topics, and when we came to that column in the Daily Mississippian, Cheryl mentioned that Kimberly regretted her initial treatment of Patrick Richards when she thought he actually was the author. Cheryl also talked about Kim's reaction when she discovered that Carter Nichols was the one really behind it.

Cheryl Weston: [Kimberly] said that she had confronted [Nichols], but he just laughed at her. She was pissed. She was going to try to get him expelled or suspended, whatever she could pull off.

Cheryl also talked about how Kimberly handled her difficult relationship with her neighbor, Arthur Beck.

Cheryl Weston: She talked a lot about how she would make him sorry. Becky was trying to get her to hire a private detective, just to freak him out I think.

This update also includes information about the people Kimberly was emailing with, as well as criminal history checks for several people of interest to the investigation

On Monday, we'll have follow-up interviews with Paul Evans and Arthur Beck, the results of an alibi check for a person of interest, and more.
