Greetings ,

Miguel Ochoa, victim's friend

Paul Evans told us that he'd been staying with Miguel Ochoa since he moved out of Kimberly Pace's house. In this update, we talked to Ochoa to try to corroborate some of what Evans told us.

We also asked him about his impression of Evans and Pace's relationship.

Miguel Ochoa: They had their ups and downs. Both of them could have a temper, you know? Both of them were really good at putting on the pout, if you know what I mean... But usually it worked, it clicked... they had something that seemed kind of special. A chemistry I guess you'd call it.

In addition, we've been canvassing the students at Ole Miss to see what information we could turn up. I think you'll find what they had to say pretty interesting, including one thing we learned about Carter Nichols that he failed to mention when we interviewed him.

Today's update also includes the Coroner's Report and Kimberly Pace's phone records for the days surrounding her death.

On Monday, look for our canvass of the Ole Miss faculty, an interview with Kimberly Pace's veterinarian, plus transcripts of her voice mail messages and more. You won't want to miss any of it, so be sure to stop by for the next update.
