Carter Nichols, victim's student

Today, we turn our attention to some people whose opinions of Kimberly Pace weren't so positive.

First, we interviewed Kimberly's English Department colleague Laurence Bricker. He didn't try to hide his disdain for her teaching style and treatment of students.

Laurence Bricker: I did inform her that I did not approve of her behavior and that I felt that she was embarrassing the department.

When we asked him if he had a motive to kill her, he denied any involvement in her murder.

Laurence Bricker: I did not want to see her dead. Although I did not approve of her, I certainly bore her no ill will.

We also spoke with Carter Nichols. who Patrick Richards claims is the person that used his name to allege that teachers were selling grades. We asked Nichols if he knew about the item that was in the Ole Miss newspaper.

Carter Nichols: I thought that was great.

Detective Murphy: What was great about it?

Carter Nichols: Oh, I just thought it was a riot.

Our conversation with Nichols only got more interesting after that.

We've also got some other good stuff for you in this update, including an article about Kimberly's funeral, an update to the Places of Interest map, and biographical information on Bricker and Nichols.

Coming on Thursday, we'll have the Coroner's Report, and our interview with Miguel Ochoa, the guy Paul Evans is staying with. Make sure to drop by for that information and even more juicy tidbits in the next update.
