I received the attached search warrant May 6, 2021, and have executed it as follows:

On May 6, 2021, at 9:30 a.m., I searched the person or premises described in the warrant and left a copy of the warrant with Norman W. Resol.

 

INVENTORY OF PERSON OR PROPERTY TAKEN PURSUANT TO THE WARRANT

Residence

  • 001995-48: One (1) 11-inch standard basin wrench

  • 001995-49: One (1) set of five (5) standard nut drivers

  • 001995-50: One (1) men's athletic shoes, white, size 9, with reddish-brown spatters

Vehicle

  • 001995-51: One (1) 5-oz. tack hammer with reddish-brown spatters

  • 001995-52: One (1) short-sleeved button-front shirt, gray with black YCCC logo stitched over left breast pocket, size M, with reddish-brown stain

To Detective Samantha Murphy and any Authorized Officer of Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi.

Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Samantha Murphy

who has reason to believe that on the premises known as

156 Highway 7 South which is a one-story, one-bedroom house leased to and occupied by Norman W. Resol; a blue 2010 Ford F150 pickup truck with camper shell license # RY5731;

in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely

items capable of inflicting tear or puncture wounds of approximately .5cm diameter; clothing with blood stains or blood spatter; shoes with blood stains or blood spatter; ipecac syrup; any trace evidence to include blood, hair, soil and/or fibers; any documents and/or photographs showing the relationship between Norman W. Resol and Barbara Ellen Dubois, any other items pertaining to the crime of murder;

and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s).

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before May 16, 2021 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). If the person or property be found there seize same, leaving a copy of this warrant and receipt for the person or property taken and prepare a written inventory of the person or property seized and promptly return this warrant to US Judge or Magistrate,
